Doctor Who has corrupted me, Exhibit C
Thomas Sangster appears in the episode “The Family of Blood” on Doctor Who. When I first saw him I recognized him but couldn’t think of where else I’d seen him (a frustration that just added to my extreme frustration with John Smith throughout the entirety of those 2 episodes). After looking Sangster up, I realized I’d probably seen him in Nanny McPhee or something, but more importantly, I discovered that he is the voice of Ferb. Now whenever I watch Phineas and Ferb (which is probably more often than I should; it’s a kid’s show for goodness’ sake) I’ll think of Doctor Who. And now I can’t help but wonder if there’s an episode of Phineas and Ferb that references Doctor Who at all. If there isn’t, there should be.
